Yo-ho-ho! Here's a little something I've been working on lately. It's an environment roughly based on an amazing picture by Arnold Tsang. Btw I would like to thank Arnold once again for making great art and for letting me use it. ![]() ![]() I didn't just replicate the thing in 3d, but rather used it as a base to build upon. My story with it is that it's a garage of a genius kid Billy, who built a robot working on soup for the school science fair and won! ![]() See the first place ribbon?) ![]() The whole project took me around 25 working days. ![]() And here's the blueprint Billy made for his robot. If you look close enough you can even see his random doodles all over it: ![]() ![]() Feel free to check out my progress in a dedicated polycount thread. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is my favorite part of the whole environment - the one and only(drumroll) Donald Duck Clock! ![]() The clock actually works.) Since I do get bored sometimes, working so much, I entertain myself making stuff like this. Here's the network: ![]() Billy waited a real long time for the Science Fair: ![]() I bet his mum is tired of trying to bring order into his sciency stuff: ![]() A pack of some tasty highpoly work: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A couple of textures for dessert: ![]() ![]() ![]() And for the last I saved a little timelapse animation of the first half of the production. This should give an idea of how I was going about this. ![]() Thank you so much for your attention and I hope you like what you see! |
